This policy explains, in plain language, what personal data Organic Monkey uses when you browse www.organicmonkey.in, create an account, verify a phone number, place an order or contact us.
Information We Use
Depending on what you choose to do, we may process your name, username, email address, verified mobile number, saved and order delivery addresses, cart and order details, payment references and status, support messages, account security events, and basic technical information needed to operate and protect the service.
We do not need or store your UPI PIN, card number or banking password. Razorpay and the customer's chosen payment provider process those payment credentials. Organic Monkey keeps only the references and status needed to verify and reconcile an order.
Phone Verification
We use your mobile number to send a verification code, protect your account, prevent duplicate or abusive sign-ups, and connect your confirmed purchases to the correct account. Google Firebase processes the number and verification request to deliver the code and prevent spam and abuse. Standard SMS or carrier charges may apply. Your number is not displayed publicly.
Why We Use This Information
We use personal data only as needed to create and protect an account, remember permitted account details, calculate and fulfil an order, verify payment, deliver products, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to product or delivery concerns, maintain reliable records, and meet legal obligations.
We do not send abandoned-cart reminders or use order information for recovery marketing. We will not use personal details for unrelated marketing without a separate clear choice.
Service Providers
We share only the information necessary for the requested service with providers such as Google Firebase for identity and phone verification, Razorpay for payment processing, hosting and security providers for operating the website, and delivery providers for dispatch. These providers process information under their own applicable terms and privacy obligations.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use necessary cookies and browser storage for security, signed-in sessions, cart contents and essential preferences. Blocking these may prevent account or checkout features from working. We do not describe advertising or public-comment tracking because those features are not part of the store.
Retention and Account Choices
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including security, payment and order reconciliation, delivery, dispute resolution and legal record-keeping. Account controls let an authenticated customer review or correct profile and address information and request permanent account deletion. Information that must be retained for a confirmed order or legal obligation may be kept in a restricted or anonymised form.
Security and Disclosure
We use server-side authorization, encrypted session handling, abuse limits and restricted access to protect customer information. No internet or storage system can guarantee absolute security. We disclose personal data only to the service providers needed for the purposes above, when the customer asks us to, or when required by applicable law.
Children
The store is not intended for children to create accounts or place orders on their own. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied personal data should contact us.
